Here’s a funny item fresh from the Drudge Report..
The Subcommittee on Energy and Air Quality that was scheduled for this morning at 10 AM in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building has been postponed because of – get this- “inclement weather”.
The postponed hearing was entitled “[tag-tec]Climate Change[/tag-tec]: Are Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Human Activates Contributing to a Warming of the Planet?”
I guess we’ll have to be left wondering, at least until it warms up enough for our lawmakers to get over there and attend. And I reckon that bad weather was just one of those flukes that happens sometimes in February.
Remember, these are the same lawmakers who will be deciding public policies concerning our pocketbooks and our [tag-ice]properties[/tag-ice].
Added Note: That’s not all. Drudge also reports that Maryville University in St. Louis had to cancel the screening of my fellow Nashvillian Al Gore’s Inconvienent Truth because of a snowstorm. Interesting…
