Our defination of a good investment area is one where [tag-ice] property taxes[/tag-ice] are steady, jobs are growing and prices are still reasonable.
1. North Carolina
This has been a good area for quite a while now.
North Carolina is one of the fastest growing states in the country yet prices have remained steady. Property taxes have not shot through the roof.
2. Central Florida
Plenty of deals available away from the coasts. Melbourne/Palm Bay is considered good.
Insurance rates and [tag-tec]property taxes[/tag-tec] are going down.
3. Richmond-Petersburg, VA
There is a military base in the Petersburg area which is slated to bring in several thousand new jobs over the next few years.
4. Lansing, MI
Is the state capitol which means lots of government jobs and several important schools located there.
Good reports about still being able to buy cheaply are being given by [tag-self]rehabbers[/tag-self] and investors.
