Illegal Immigration is Still a Hot Button with Many Real Estate Investors and landlords.

The new movement in some towns to ban illegal immigrants from renting is adding fuel to the fire.

Landlords are not supposed to discriminate but in these cases, they are being ordered specifically to do just that.

I know the argument is strong these folks are not legal and aren’t protected under The Constitution, but  why should [tag-self]landlords[/tag-self] be responsible for  border protection?

That is what is amounts to.  The illegals get across the borders and the [tag-ice]landlords[/tag-ice] are supposed to police them here.

If this government is going to stop illegal immigration it needs to do so at the borders.

Maybe something can be done.

Chances are improving for a new immigration law to be passed by Congress.

This law especially addresses  guest worker status.  Several business groups are heavily backing it which makes it seem like a reasonable alternative to a problem that has no good solutions.

Problem?  What to do with the 12 million illegals who are already in this country?
