What are the five dumbest renovation trends and how can you correct them?
We did a very popular post on this a few weeks ago, so we’re updating the latest from CNN Money.
I think there are several interesting points here for [tag-tec]rehabbing[/tag-tec] and remodeling.
One is that bigger, and in some cases gigantic, is not necessarily better. The trends also seem to be steering away from too much lighting. People are getting away from high noon ceiling fixtures.
But I think it all comes down to common sense. What is really livable? Can a family be comfortable in that [tag-self]house[/tag-self]?
Could these five problems be some of the reasons some high end [tag-ice]houses[/tag-ice] are staying on the market longer? It’s an interesting thought, because according to reports the high end market should be doing okay this summer.
