A few posts ago, we talked about the Sylvan Park Zoning War.
Here is the outcome.
The bill, which would have restricted what homeowners and investors could do to their properties, was mysteriously withdrawn at the last minute by Councilman Summers.
The proposed overlay had already been “voted on” by constituents who came down heavily against it. Everyone thought it had died its own death a few months ago. The people had spoken, right?
Yet, Councilman Summers was still trying to get it through. Why?
Anyway, it shows you really can fight city hall. And you must.
This was only one small [tag-tec]property rights[/tag-tec] battlefield amongst many across the country. I hope it gives encouragement to those who will be facing similar [tag-self]property rights[/tag-self] fights.
