Smile, You’re on Google Camera

Google Maps is getting so detailed it’s picking up license plates numbers, faces, and heaven forbid, people who are considered in the wrong places at the wrong times. (Those times when the Google camera is clicking, that is).

So that makes this an excellent real estate research tool…

Vintage CameraWell, it finally happened.

It just got harder to sin and not get caught, thanks to [tag-tec]Google Maps[/tag-tec].

Google Maps is getting so detailed it’s picking up license plates numbers, faces, and heaven forbid, people who are considered in the wrong places at the wrong times.  (Those times when the Google camera is clicking, that is).

And controversy is brewing.  Some folks don’t like having their pictures taken from outer space, or the sidewalk.

So what’s my point?

This is an even better research tool than we first thought.  I can already  think of almost a dozen ways to use this for [tag-ice]real estate[/tag-ice].

Next time you need fast info on a property, check out Google Maps first.

Go to Google and Click on Maps.

Type in the property’s address as the default.

Then you can pan out and in or  pan from “map” to “satellite”.   Believe me, you will get the details.

This is powerful.

Don’t forget [tag-self]Google Earth[/tag-self].

Download the quick and dirty free  version of it and you can scruntinize individual  addresses in even more detail  in no time.

And of course, there’s always the more advanced version if you want  more bells and whistles.

But you’ll have to pay for that.  Go ahead and splurge.  It may actually be worth it.
