re’s a big chance for a person with taste and money who needs something special in the Boston area to score big.

We’re beginning a new weekly feature showcasing our most fav buys.  This week’s surprising find   was built in 1897, and is located in  Boston.

But it’s the art deco décor  which really caught my eye. Art Deco turns me on  to full shine.

This [tag-tec]Tudor[/tag-tec] was renovated in 1945 and still has the beautifully  preserved 1930’s/1940’s  old hollywood style  with a touch of glamour.

Of course, as we always point out, the neighborhood can make  or break  a find like this.

This house’s surroundings pass our checklist with flying colors; well kept properties with equally beautiful eye candy neighboring houses.

The neighborhood is symmetrical with good lines.  As you know, I talk a lot about symmetry of neighborhoods.  I like the look and feel of well framed streets instead of a mish mash lack of style many of our streets in Nashville have now.

Quoting a leading interior decorator in Town and Country- “I wish people with money would get taste and people with taste would get money.”

Amen.

Here’s a big chance for a person with taste and money who needs something special in the Boston area to score big.

The 7,000 square foot house is listed at $5 million.

(The real advantage for the rest of us is the wealth of ideas we can gleam from someone else’s well throught out planning and creativity).
