Where can you get some free sample letters to send distressed owners facing foreclosure?
The Real Life of a Real Estate Investor Blog has several letters you can try out.
Letter #1 is a punching, hard-hitting message to the home owner that may be a little over the top for some people’s taste.
However, that may not be that much of an issue in the current market.
Experts are predicting difficult times for distressed owners will last throughout most of next year.
With many distressed owners facing banks ready to repossess their homes, a letter that refers to “a FORECLOSURE that is hanging over your head” may be the least of their problems.
And the letter goes on to say “Don’t stick you head in the sand! The foreclosure clock is running. In just a short time your home will be sold at [tag-tec]PUBLIC AUCTION[/tag-tec].”
What I really like are the hand written models. They are simple notes which are simple messages on yellow pad paper.
Why do I think they can be effective?
They’re more personal and to the point They can less intimidating. You can slip one behind the distressed owner’s door. It looks like you have an interest in the person, not just her property.
As with anything, persistence pays off. It is the real estate investor who builds a grassroots campaign and sticks to it step- by- step who will end up with the gold.
