Mortgage Bankers Assoication Predicts 2008-2009 Housing Market

2008 will be a good year to invest in real estate

What does the Mortgage Bankers Association have to say about the near future of  the [tag-tec]housing[/tag-tec] market?

Plenty.

But the news is good for real estate investors who have been waiting for the bottom.

1.  The housing recession ( and I think that’s really the correct term to call it) will probably end in the third quarter of 2008.

2. The oversupply of housing inventory is greater than the numbers that have been reported.

3. The economic growth will return to normal around July, 2008 through the beginning of 2009.

What does this mean for the savvy real estate investor?

There will be plenty of terrific bargain properties out there.  As the amateurs and gamblers bail out  you’ll have the lion’s share of goodies to choose from.

Do your due diligence, team up with other investors if you have to, but go for the deals.

2008-2009    should be a very good year to invest in the  [tag-self]housing[/tag-self] market.
