Forbes has an article about distressed homeowners re-entering the rental market as tenants after a foreclosure.

 

Many are having difficulty renting and there are plenty of reasons why.

 

Foreclosures are bad news for some people, unless you’re a real estate investor who specializes in them.

 

But a tenant with a foreclosure history offers more risks for the landlord.  Heaven knows we have enough risks we have to deal with as  it is.

Wireless Internet for Cars a Tool Breakthrough for Real Estate Investors

Let there by internet access in our carsWill wireless internet in cars be the new tool for real estate investors?

 

I can already think of lots of ways we can use computers in our cars.  I’m not sure why this innovation has taken so long. 

 

Chrysler is the first car company to offer it and it will be on some of their 2009 models.

 

So how exactly would we use our computers in the field?

 

We could check comps, do Google maps, check-out property owners, neighborhoods, etc.  And it’s a whole easier than trying to see the screen on those tiny dollhouse- sized I- phones.

 

I won’t even start to list all the ways realtors can make use of car wireless.

Can a Crime Scene Property Really Sell?

Do you believe a property can be cursed if it has been a crime scene?

This was an interesting subject discussed in one of the major real estate investing forums a few years ago. The responses were very revealing- and surprising.

Do you believe a property can be cursed if it has been a crime scene?

 

This was an interesting subject discussed in one of the major real estate investing forums a few years ago.  The responses were very revealing.

 

Some people, said ‘yes’, certain things (like a murder) that happen on, or in a property can reduce values, while others laughed at the whole concept.

 

I lean both ways, depending upon the situation.
