Finally, you can choose what you want from the comfort of your own computer rather than having to go into the store with screeching children, difficult sales associates and fellow customers who sometimes break in line, just to look at countless paint samples that are more confusing than helpful.

http://www.glidden.com is probably one of the more user-friendly sites.  When you mouse over a color the whole paint chart for that color automatically pops up on the right side.

http://www.behr.com has the most fun site where you can choose your color and then play with it, which they like to refer to as refining it.

By clicking lighter, darker, more orange or more green, you can come up with new colors which are also shown on the right side of your screen complete with name and stock number.

You can also control the brightness of a color by making it more or less bright on the left side.
