Property Grunt is writing about a green college student’s solution to student housing.
It’s a tiny house on wheels graduate student Elizabth Turnbull plans to take with her to Yale.
She’s concerned about her own carbon footprint as well as her expenses, which will be $14,000, she figures.
So how much will the cabonless tiny house save her?
Only about $3,000.
Is it really worth it?
It wouldn’t be to me and I sure hope my graduate student tenants don’t get on to this.
And as much as I love Property Grunt, I have to disagree with him about placing these eco-friendly gypsy wagons on a vacant lot near NYU.
Who would be paying the property taxes, pray tell?
But what to do you think?
