Richard Warren has a very informative article on how to get started rehabbing.
His most important advice is rehab the house you live in first. That way you won’t be boxed in with time pressures.
I think that is good advice. You need to learn as you go, and believe me rehabbing is a learning experience.
(I found that out with the 1929 rehab I did seven years ago, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.)
Warren also recommends starting small and using your deals as stepping stones toward your future real estate investing success.
